Benjamin Sam is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in front-end development and design, currently working at Thumbtack since June 2022. Prior to this, Benjamin served as a senior software engineer at Better, where the development and deployment of a green-field public application using modern web technologies were prominent achievements. At Lazard Asset Management, Benjamin held the position of vice president and transformed the teamā€™s development process while leading initiatives that incorporated Agile methodologies and enhanced testing standards. Earlier roles include technology consultant at Accenture, developing data-driven visualizations, and characterization engineer at IBM, focusing on yield management and process improvements. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
