Þorvaldur Arnarson has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Þorvaldur worked at Þula ehf as a Project Manager starting from November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at five°degrees as a Development Manager from July 2018 to October 2020. Þorvaldur also held the role of Development Manager at Libra from June 2009 to July 2018. Before that, they worked as a Project Manager at Kaupthing Bank from October 2007 to May 2009. Þorvaldur Arnarson began their career at OMX in March 1998, where they served as a Program Manager until October 2007. Þorvaldur also held the same position at NASDAQ OMX from 1998 to 2007.

Þorvaldur Arnarson began their education in 1994 at the University of Skövde, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science. Þorvaldur completed their studies in this field in 1997. Moving forward, in 2007 they enrolled at Háskóli Íslands, where they obtained a Master of Project Management (MPM) degree in 2009.
