Shu Guo currently serves as a Portfolio Manager at Thrivent since September 2022 and has been with Pine River Capital Management since March 2011, where roles included Vice President of Quantitative Research and Quantitative Analyst. In these positions, Shu Guo focused on equity research and portfolio management, notably developing fundamental equity factor models to analyze global equity factors and idiosyncratic returns, as well as constructing and managing a $300 million long/short equity portfolio with targeted factor exposure to capture idiosyncratic alpha. Shu Guo holds a Master's degree in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, both from Tsinghua University.
