John Lowry is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in consulting, education, and organizational advancement. As the President and founder of Thrivence since January 2022, John Lowry established a consulting firm with over 60 service areas, growing the team significantly and launching the Leading Innovation podcast. Prior to that, as President of The Lowry Group, LLC, John Lowry achieved remarkable revenue growth of 192% over five years while delivering keynote speeches and negotiation coaching. At Lipscomb University, John Lowry served as Senior Vice President for Advancement, leading a record-breaking fundraising campaign that generated over $260 million and significantly increasing donor participation. Additionally, John Lowry has held various roles focusing on external affairs and academic programming, demonstrating a strong background in leadership, strategy development, and community engagement. John Lowry holds a Juris Doctorate from SMU Dedman School of Law and degrees in Religion and Speech Communication from Abilene Christian University and Pepperdine University, respectively.
