Irum Ziauddin, DMSc, PA-C, serves as the Lead Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at Ascension Wisconsin since 2019, where responsibilities include Acting Chief APP and Chair of the Advanced Practice Leadership Council. Ziauddin is also a member of the Medical Executive Committee and serves as the Joint Chiefs of Staff APP Representative. As a Clinical Faculty member at ThriveAP since January 2023, Ziauddin leads the Hospitalist Transition to Practice Program for physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Previous experience includes roles as a Critical Care Physician Assistant at Greater Milwaukee Critical Care and Pulmonary Associates, Lung Transplant Physician Assistant at UPMC, and various positions at renowned medical institutions such as Brigham and Women's Hospital and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Academic qualifications include a Master of Medical Science from Yale School of Medicine and a Doctor of Medical Science in Administration from the University of Lynchburg, along with certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Quality and Safety.
