Tom Dedecker has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Tom started their career at ING Belgium in 2004 as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for project management following the Prince 2 Methodology and serving as the main contact person for Product Management Investments. In 2006, they became the Head of Project & Process Management in the Securities Department at ING Belgium, where they managed a team of 10 people and focused on program management and initiation phase of key projects. Tom joined ING in 2007 as a Program Manager, overseeing a portfolio of 12 projects and managing 15 direct reports. In 2008, they moved to threon - strategy delivered, where they initially served as a Program Manager and later worked their way up to Manager Consulting & Delivery. From 2011 to 2019, they held the role of Executive Partner - Director Consulting at threon, and since July 2019, they have been working as the Chief Executive Officer at the company.

Tom Dedecker graduated from KU Leuven with a Distinction in Applied Economics in the period from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Klein Seminarie Roeselare from 1987 to 1994, where they pursued a degree in Latin-Sciences. Additionally, Tom obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2022.
