Oliver Cooper is an experienced policy lead and political leader with a focus on law and governance. Currently serving as the Policy Lead at Charles Russell Speechlys since May 2021, Oliver provides legal advice on international tax, trade, and financial services to governments and private sector clients. In addition, Oliver is the Leader of the Opposition for Three Rivers District Council, representing Chorleywood North & Sarratt, a role commenced in May 2023. Previously, Oliver held the position of Leader of the Opposition in the London Borough of Camden from May 2015 to May 2022, after serving as a councillor for Hampstead Town and chairing Camden's Resources & Corporate Performance Scrutiny Committee. Oliver's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics from UCL and a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice Course from The University of Law.
