Andrew J Hacker has a strong background in cybersecurity and information technology. Andrew J is the Founder and CEO of Thought Network and has been in that role since October 2016. Prior to that, they served as a Professor and Cybersecurity Expert In Residence at Harrisburg University starting from February 2016. Andrew J also holds the position of CTO at Zowasel since January 2020. Andrew started their career as the Founder and CEO of Create Different Designs, LLC in March 2009. Andrew J worked as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania from July 2010 to February 2016. Before that, they were the Global Practice Head at Mindteck from April 2008 to July 2010. Andrew J was a Senior Information Security Analyst, Program Manager, and Web Application Firewall Developers Consortium member at ICSA Labs, Cybertrust, division of Verizon Business from November 2003 to March 2008. Additionally, they served as a Senior Security Consultant at VeriSign from February 2000 to May 2002. Andrew started their career as a Sr Engineer at The Tolly Group, where they worked from an unknown start date to 1999.

Andrew J Hacker attended Mt Carmel from 1975 to 1984. Andrew J then pursued their high school education at Bergen Catholic Highschool from 1984 to 1988. Following this, they enrolled at Rutgers University from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
