Joel Barnes has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Joel began their career as a Data Entry Operator at FedEx Ground in 2014. In 2015, they became a Front End Supervisor at Bed Bath & Beyond. In 2019, they took on an Information Technology Intern role at Edgar Snyder & Associates. Most recently, they have been working at ThoroughCare since 2020, where they have held the roles of Product Lead - Integration, Senior Tech Support, and Technical Support Analyst.

Joel Barnes attended Community College of Allegheny County from 2015 to 2017, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities. Joel then attended Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Beaver from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Sciences and Technology.
