Simon Burrage has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Simon currently holds the position of CEO Thor Digital at Thor Equities Group since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Ark Data Centres from 2012 to 2022, where they served as the Crown Hosting Chief Executive and Commercial Director, responsible for contract negotiations, new site acquisitions, and customer sales. Additionally, they were also the CEO of Crown Hosting Data Centres from 2015 to 2022, a joint venture between the Cabinet Office and Ark Data Centres, focusing on improving efficiency and transparency in data centre hosting for the UK public sector. Simon started their career as a Quantity Surveyor at Laing O'Rourke in 1996 and later worked as a Solicitor at Lovells from 1998 to 2004. Simon then joined Eversheds, where they specialized in real estate and managed various complex projects until 2013.
Simon Burrage attended The University of Manchester from 1990 to 1993 where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree with a focus on Civil Engineering and Environmental Management. Simon then pursued further education at the University of Hertfordshire from 1993 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law. Following this, Simon attended The University of Law for one year, from 1995 to 1996, to complete their Legal Practice Course (LPC) in Law.
