Mark Upton, P.E. is a seasoned engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Marshall University. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Thompson & Litton since September 2023, Mark has previously held the position of Project Manager at Kentucky Engineering Group from February 2018 to September 2023 and worked as a Project Engineer at GRW | engineering | architecture | geospatial from January 2011 to February 2018. Mark's expertise includes creating and analyzing hydraulic models for drinking water distribution systems, managing large datasets in Microsoft Excel, and reviewing various engineering plans and specifications. Earlier experience includes a Civil Engineering Co-op with WV DOH, where responsibilities included managing daily time sheets and drafting cross-sections for bridge work, and a work study assistant role at Marshall University, supporting professors and students in academic tasks.
