Marla Izbicky, CIPP/US, currently serves as Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Counsel at Thompson Hine LLP since May 2023, focusing on privacy compliance, cybersecurity incident response, and technology transactions while advising on ESG and Artificial Intelligence matters. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Attorney at HMB Legal Counsel from September 2020 to May 2023, concentrating on data privacy, general counsel, venture capital, and mergers & acquisitions in the Technology & Intellectual Property Business & Finance groups. Earlier roles include Associate Attorney positions at L&G Law Group LLP and Smith Blake Hill LLC, along with legal internships and clerkships at various organizations, including the Legal Aid Society and Legal Services NYC. Marla Izbicky holds a Juris Doctor from Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University, graduating Cum Laude with Honors in Conflict and Cooperation Studies.
