Timothy Dammers is a skilled Combustion Engineer currently employed at Thomassen Energy BV since August 2020. Prior to this role, Timothy gained valuable experience as a Graduate Intern at Siemens from April 2019 to July 2020, where research focused on self-excited high-frequency combustion instabilities using Large Eddy Simulations in STAR-CCM+. Additionally, Timothy completed an internship as a Combustion Engineer Intern at Siemens from October 2018 to February 2019, concentrating on the improvement and validation of a liquid fuel spray solver and performing simulations with OpenFOAM. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Process, Fluid & Energy Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Delft University of Technology, completed in 2020 and 2016, respectively.
