Willem van der Westhuysen is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and risk assessment. Currently serving as Finance Director at Thomas Miller since December 2010, Willem previously held the position of Finance Manager - Head of SII reporting. Prior to this role, experience includes working as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers and in the MIS Department at Old Mutual. Early career development included a trainee accountant position at Jackson Neethling Auditors. Willem holds multiple degrees and professional designations, including a Professional Designation in Financial Risk Management from the Global Association of Risk Professionals and an Associate in Risk Management from the American Insurance Institute and AICPCU. Educational qualifications also include a Chartered Accountant designation from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and various degrees in accounting from Stellenbosch University and the University of South Africa.
