Robert Whitehead, MFA has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of strategic writing, development consulting, and grant writing. Robert has held positions at organizations such as Thomas Jefferson University, Ralston Center, Philly Youth Poetry Movement, Media Impact Funders, BRIC - Arts and Media in Brooklyn, Guernica Magazine, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, and Women's City Club of New York. Throughout their career, Robert has demonstrated their ability to design and write compelling content, manage fundraising activities, and secure support for various programs and initiatives. Robert has also gained experience in research, proposal writing, grants management, and organizational practices.
Robert Whitehead, MFA completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing at Ursinus College from 2007 to 2011. Robert then pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing with a specialization in Poetry from Washington University in St. Louis, from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained a TESOL/TESL/TEFL Certification from Oxford Seminars in 2013, focusing on teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instruction. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Robert attended Westfield High School from 2003 to 2007.
