Kevin W. has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Kevin started their career at Morgan Stanley as a UX Developer, where they worked on building reusable UX components using Angular and various other frameworks. Kevin then joined BJSS as a Frontend Developer, where they initially developed Angular components before transitioning to porting the app into React. At ScottishPower, Kevin was a React Developer responsible for delivering a custom management portal, and they also gained experience in TypeScript, Redux, and RxJS. Kevin then worked at Sword IT Solutions as a .NET/React Developer, focusing on the front-end of a .NET Core/React app. At RBS, they were a React Developer on a small feature team working with Open Banking APIs. Kevin then joined Virgin Money UK PLC as a Technology Consultant, where they worked on multiple projects using JS/React and Jest for testing. Kevin later joined Barclays as a Development Lead, Vice President, leading a team in tracking data within the bank using React, Node, Apollo, Sequelize, and MariaDB. Kevin's most recent role was at Oyster®, where they started as a Senior Software Engineer before transitioning to an Engineering Manager role, overseeing developers and project planning within the Payroll domain and subsequently the Foundations/Communications team. In addition to their full-time positions, Kevin also gained experience as a Freelance Software Engineer before joining Bud as a Frontend Developer.

Kevin W. attended the University of Strathclyde from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Information Systems. In July 2011, they also obtained the certification of MCTS: Web Applications Development with Microsoft .NET Framework 4 from Microsoft.
