Scott Johnson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in finance and management. Currently serving as President of Third Coast Commercial Capital since March 2022, Scott has also held prominent positions at Third Coast Bank, SSB, including South Houston Area President and Houston Regional President. Previously, Scott founded GAAP Financial Services, which earned accolades as the 2015 Best of the Best Overall Winner in the "Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" in Houston, while managing a substantial workforce across multiple international locations. Earlier roles include CFO/Director of Finance at New Tech Global and SVP Commercial Lending at BBVA Compass, where Scott focused on team leadership, profitability, and adherence to sound financial practices. Scott holds a degree in Economics from the University of Northern Iowa.
