Mohammed AlGhimlas has a diverse work experience that spans various roles in the legal field. Mohammed is currently the Director of AHAD GRC & Legal at THIQAH, a position they have held since June 2023. Previously, they served as the CEO Sr. Advisor at THIQAH from July 2021 to June 2023.
Prior to joining THIQAH, Mohammed worked as a Legal Advisor at Banque Saudi Fransi from January 2017 to June 2021. During their time there, they specialized in Saudi laws and regulations, particularly in business, corporate, and banking laws. Mohammed was responsible for preparing and analyzing interceptors regulations, executing articles and amendments before notary public, and reviewing and advising on agreements and contracts.
Before joining Banque Saudi Fransi, Mohammed worked at Almulla Law Firm as a Lawyer & Legal Advisor in 2016. In this role, they drafted and negotiated legal documents and contracts, provided specialized legal and commercial advice in various fields of law, and conducted interviews with clients to provide legal guidance.
Earlier in their career, Mohammed served as an Attorney General at the Public Prosecution of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from January 2014 to December 2015. Their responsibilities included studying and modifying indictments, preparing general regulations, acting as a prosecutor in criminal courts, and assisting investigators in making criminal decisions.
Mohammed AlGhimlas received their Bachelor's degree in Law from King Saud University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Legal studies from Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University from 2014 to 2016. In terms of additional certifications, Mohammed obtained the CCO certification from Global Horizon for Training and Consulting in July 2023. Mohammed also acquired the GRCP certification from GRC Certify in September 2022, the GRC certification from BlackBird Training Centre (BTC) in August 2022, and the ICCGO certification from LGCA - London Governance & Compliance Academy in July 2021. In March 2012, they completed a Legal week course offered by King Saud University.
