Rick Thomas

Vice President Of Service Delivery at Think Systems

Rick Thomas has over 16 years of professional work experience. Rick began their career in 2004 as a Crew Chief F-15 Eagle for the United States Air Force, where they were responsible for total airworthiness of assigned aircraft, overseeing all aircraft repairs, and being the technical expert on inspection and approval of all airframe, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs. In 2006, they joined iCertainty as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for over 200 successful project deployments, working directly with ā€œC levelā€ executives to improve business processes, and focusing on process improvement and efficiencies. In 2015, Rick joined Think as a Vice President Consulting Services and Sr. Project Manager, where they were a turnaround specialist in failing and/or critical projects, an expert in identifying inefficiencies, constraints, and risks, and recommended mitigation strategies to complete projects successfully. In 2016, they were a BI Program Manager at PANDORA A/S, where they reported to the CFO, consolidated regional data warehouses into a global Enterprise Data Warehouse, and built a project team to support the EDW migration. In 2018, they joined Petplan Pet Insurance (North America) as the Vice President of Operations, Vet Channel and Program Manager, where they were a direct report to the CTO and Senior Leadership Team, managed technology, organizational, Business Intelligence, and Digital Marketing projects, defined and implemented project management methodologies and standard processes throughout the organization, and built a project management organization (PMO). In 2019, they returned to iCertainty as the Operations Director. In 2020, they rejoined Think as the Director, Client Services and Executive Program Manager.

Rick Thomas attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Rick also has certifications in Disney Leadership Training and Ken Blanchard's Leading People Through Change, which they obtained in 2013.
