Robert Pearson has worked in the software industry for over 30 years. Robert began their career at Borland International in 1988 as a Senior QA Engineer. In 1993, they moved to Tandem Computers as a Software Designer, providing software QA for C++ compilers and libraries, and was also a developer for the initial GUI version of C++ compiler and tools. In 1996, they became Manager of Quality Assurance at Intrinsa Corporation, and then moved to Vertical Networks in 1998, where they were Manager of Quality Assurance. In 2000, they joined Saratoga Systems as Director of Software Quality Assurance. In 2007, they became Software QA Lead at Bio-Rad Laboratories, establishing initial QA processes, developing test plans and design specifications, and managing the hiring of additional engineers. Since 2014, they have been Sr. Manager of Test Engineering and Sr. Manager of Software Testing at THINK Surgical, Inc., where they work on developing, manufacturing, and marketing a computer-assisted surgical system for orthopedic surgery.

Robert Pearson attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a B.S. in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Architecture.
