Joy Richardson

Vice President of Individual and Foundation Giving at National WWI Museum & Memorial

Joy Richardson has worked in the non-profit and education sectors for over 20 years. Joy started their career in 2002 as a Music Teacher and Marketing/Admissions Director at Whitefield Academy. In 2011, they moved to United Way of Wyandotte County where they held the position of Vice President of Resource Development & Community Impact, as well as Director of Marketing. From 2015 to 2022, they worked at Harvesters as Senior Manager of Annual Giving and Manager of Annual Giving. Currently, they are the Vice President of Individual and Foundation Giving at the National WWI Museum and Memorial.

Joy Richardson completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication, General from William Jewell College in 1991. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication & Public Relations from the same college in the same year.
