Htet Win has over 10 years of work experience in the software engineering field. In 2007, they began their career as a Software Consultant at Syncira. In 2010, they took on a Freelance Web Designer and Developer role at Qbranch. From 2011 to 2017, Htet Win held various positions such as Web Developer at Gensler, Part-time Online Lecturer at Academy of Art University, Lead Frontend Engineer at VMware, and Senior Web Applications Engineer at BotCentral. From 2012 to 2018, they worked as a Lead Frontend Engineer and Web UI Engineer at Apple (Search Ads). During this time, they also worked as a Part-time Onsite Lecturer at Academy of Art University. In 2018, Htet Win became a Senior Manager, SDE (Frontend) and Principal Engineer (Web Applications) at LivePerson. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineering Manager (Portal) at Theta Lake.

Htet Win has a diverse educational background. Htet began their studies in 1997, earning a BS in Computer Science from California State University, Long Beach in 2001. Htet then continued their education at California State University-Long Beach - College of Business, graduating with an MBA in 2007. Finally, they completed an MFA in Web Design and New Media from the Academy of Art University in 2011.
