Asbjørn Halsebakke is a seasoned professional in marine and electrical engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager Marine Concepts at The Switch since November 2016, where collaboration with customers to develop optimal solutions is a key focus. Prior experience includes significant roles at Wärtsilä, where Asbjørn held various management positions, including Engineering Manager, General Manager for Power Drives, and Technical Manager, overseeing teams and projects related to electrical engineering and power drives solutions. Asbjørn's career began with roles in commissioning and software development at Aker Elektro, in addition to owning transportation and computer repair businesses. Asbjørn holds a Master of Science degree in Power Electronics from Narvik University College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Power Electronics from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, and a Technical Engineer qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bergen Tekniske Fagskole.
