Joshua Arledge is an experienced educator specializing in American Sign Language and Deaf education. Currently serving as Associate Faculty at Cochise College since January 2024, Joshua has previously worked as a virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing as an Independent Consultant and has held various teaching positions including ASL Teacher at Connections Academy and Elementary School Teacher at Texas School for the Deaf. Joshua's teaching experience spans multiple grades and subjects, including fifth grade at Westhill Institute and fourth grade during student teaching at Sidwell Friends School. With a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Gallaudet University and a Master of Science in Deaf Education from Texas Woman's University, Joshua has also contributed to education through roles at Gallaudet University managing student financial accounts and consulting on bilingual education practices in Spanish at Instituto Nacional para Sordos.
