Marina Carver is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism and production. Currently serving as Senior Editor for News at theSkimm since April 2024, Marina oversees the Daily Skimm newsletter, collaborating with writers and editors to curate content and manage daily pitch meetings. Prior to this role, Marina worked as a Producer at abc7NY, where responsibilities included coordinating feature pieces and producing a weekly franchise. With a robust tenure at CNN from 2007 to 2022, Marina held multiple positions, including Senior Producer for CNN Digital, where the Interview Club was developed, and Senior Editor in the NY Bureau, managing news coverage logistics.
