Dayle Houston Cohen, Ph.D., serves as Executive Director for the Hematology/Oncology Therapeutic Unit at Thermo Fisher Scientific, following the acquisition of PPD Clinical Research Services in December 2021. Previously, Dayle held various leadership roles, including Executive Director, Senior Director, and Associate Director of Global Medical Writing at PPD from June 2007 to August 2024, overseeing a global team focused on clinical and regulatory writing. Dayle's early career includes contributions as a teaching assistant and Howard Hughes Predoctoral Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where research on pharmacological profiles earned presentations at national and international meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals. Dayle holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Chemistry from Delta State University.
