James Sauk started their career in 2000 at the United States Air Force as a Communications Systems Controller. James then transitioned into the role of Management Analyst in 2007 and worked in that position until 2016. In 2020, James joined Therapy Brands as an Information Technology Support Specialist and later became a Systems Engineer in September 2022.

James Sauk has a diverse education history. James obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Systems (Cybersecurity Management) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they studied from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 2016 to 2018, focusing on Information Systems Cyber Security without completing a degree.

Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, James enrolled in the Community College of the Air Force, where they studied from 2007 to 2015. During this time, they specialized in Analysis and Functional Analysis. Additionally, from 2000 to 2007, they pursued a degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at the same institution.

Apart from their formal education, James also holds several certifications. James obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2022. In May 2020, they were licensed as a Scrum Master and Scrum Product Owner by Scrum Inc.
