Laurie Shelley has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources. Laurie currently holds the position of Senior Director, Human Resources at Theory, a role they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, Laurie served as the Head of HR for UK & Europe at Theory from June 2022 to September 2023. Before joining Theory, Laurie worked at JOSEPH as a Senior HR Business Partner for UK & Ireland from June 2021 to June 2022 and as an HR Business Partner from January 2020 to June 2021. Laurie also held various positions at Jimmy Choo, including HR Manager (Global) from November 2018 to January 2020, Senior HR Advisor (Global) from June 2018 to November 2018, and HR Advisor (Global) from July 2016 to June 2018. Earlier in their career, Laurie held roles as HR Assistant at IPG Mediabrands UK from April 2015 to July 2016, HR Assistant at Consensa Care Limited from June 2014 to March 2015, and HR Intern at South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust from September 2013 to June 2014.

Laurie Shelley's education history includes a CPD Accredited program in Understanding and responding to domestic abuse in retail at Retail Trust in 2023. In 2019, Laurie completed a Mental Health First Aid course at MHFA England. From 2017 to 2019, Laurie pursued a Level 7 Advanced Diploma in HRM, Human Resources Management and Services at CIPD Qualifications. Laurie obtained a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from Anglia Ruskin University from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, in 2010 to 2012, Laurie attended Chatham House Grammar School for A Levels, and from 2004 to 2009, Laurie studied at The Ursuline Convent for GCSE qualifications.
