Ian Nakayama serves as a National Fish Habitat Partnership Board Member and Chair of the Policy Committee since February 2024. As Government Relations Manager at the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership since June 2021, Ian has successfully led multiple legislative lobbying campaigns, contributing to the passage of significant bills and engaging with various coalitions. Previous roles include Voter Activation Regional Director for the Democratic Party of Virginia, Congressional Intern in the U.S. House of Representatives, and Environmental Policy Intern at the Virginia General Assembly. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from the University of Virginia, where involvement in research included analyzing compounds for quantum computing applications.
