Amanda Huffman

Vice President Of Visual Merchandising at Theodore Alexander

Amanda Huffman has extensive experience in visual merchandising and retail design. Amanda currently holds the position of Vice President of Visual Merchandising at Theodore Alexander, a role they have been in since July 2023. Prior to this, Amanda was the Director of Visual Merchandising at Theodore Alexander from October 2019 to July 2023.

Before joining Theodore Alexander, Amanda worked as a Retail Design Consultant and Interior Designer, operating their own freelance business from December 2014 to the present day. In this role, they provided furniture layout designs, color schemes, and accessory specifications for clients, with a focus on retail design and branding.

Amanda's previous experience includes roles at Da Vinci Furniture, where they were the Creative Director for Home Sweet Home Furniture Stores from January 2013 to October 2014, and the Chief Visual Merchandiser from November 2010 to October 2014. During their time at Da Vinci Furniture, they designed and maintained showrooms, traveled to international furniture markets, and worked on luxury show units and show villas for developers.

Prior to their role at Da Vinci Furniture, Amanda worked at Thomasville Furniture Ind., serving as the Senior Retail Designer in Corporate Design and Development from December 2006 to October 2010, and as a Retail Designer at Corporate Headquarters from October 2004 to December 2006. Amanda also gained experience as a Designer/Visual Merchandiser at Viewpoint Studios from December 2003 to October 2004.

Throughout their career, Amanda has demonstrated expertise in visual merchandising, retail design, and furniture layout, as well as a strong understanding of branding and trends in the industry.

Amanda Huffman attended Appalachian State University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design. Amanda'sfield of study was also Interior Design.
