Frédéric Barthelet

Head of Serverless Tribe at Theodo

Frédéric Barthelet has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple industries and roles. Frédéric started their career as a Blue Collar Intern at Elastisol in 2010. Frédéric then worked as a Site Engineer at Bouygues Construction from 2011 to 2012, where they were involved in the engineering, design, construction, and exploitation of a large-scale stadium project in Singapore.

In 2013, Barthelet joined Subsea 7 as part of the Rigid Pipelay Analysis Department, where they worked for a few months. Frédéric then moved on to Saipem in 2014 and worked as a Field Engineer onboard S355, a S-Lay pipelaying vessel. Frédéric was responsible for following up on production during project phases and developing project procedures and task plans.

Barthelet returned to Saipem in 2015, this time as a Field Engineer onboard FDS2, a J-Lay deep-water pipelaying vessel. Frédéric'sresponsibilities included production follow-up, as well as the development and validation of project procedures and task plans.

In 2017, Barthelet transitioned into the tech industry and joined Theodo as a Web Agile Developer. Frédéric later became an Architecte-développeur, where they contributed to implementing technical solutions and creating value-adding products for clients. Frédéric worked with various companies, including Tarkett, Dashlane, BlaBlaCar, and Ada, using technologies such as Vue, React, Symfony, Flask, and Nest.

Barthelet's most recent role at Theodo is Head of Serverless Tribe, which they started in September 2020. In this position, they are responsible for leading a team and driving the adoption of serverless technologies within the organization.

Frédéric Barthelet attended High School Notre Dame de Meudon from 2005 to 2007. Frédéric then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree at CentraleSupélec from 2009 to 2012. During their master's program, they focused on studying Civil Engineering, Finance, Math, and Physics.
