Ben White is a seasoned financial journalist with extensive experience in economic reporting. Currently a Contributor at CNBC since January 2013 and Chief Wall Street Correspondent for The Messenger since June 2023, White has previously served as Chief Economic Correspondent for POLITICO from September 2009 to September 2023. Their career also includes roles as a Staff Writer at The New York Times and the Financial Times, as well as a staff position at The Washington Post, where responsibilities encompassed Wall Street correspondence and political research. Ben White holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Kenyon College, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
