Andy Shambrook has a diverse range of work experience in various roles within the finance industry. Andy is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Finance Business Partner, where they aim to change the perception of finance by focusing on building relationships and influencing decisions. Andy also founded Their Perfect Gift, serving as the CFO and helping to launch a gift card that can be used worldwide. Additionally, Andy worked at ICAEW as the Programme Designer and Lead Trainer for the Finance Business Partnering training program. Prior to these roles, they held various positions at AkzoNobel, including Commercial Director, Sales Director, and Finance Director, where they gained experience in sales, finance, and managing large teams. Andy began their career at BDO UK LLP, training as a Chartered Accountant and gaining experience in accounts preparation, audits, tax computations, and corporate finance.

Andy Shambrook received their education at a few different institutions. Andy attended Trinity School of John Whitgift from 1987 to 1995, but it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or the field of study they pursued. In 1995, they enrolled at the University of Reading and completed a Bachelor of Science (BsC) degree in Geography between 1995 and 1998. Afterward, from 1998 to 2001, Andy attended ICAEW, where they earned the qualification of Chartered Accountant. Later, between 2012 and 2016, they pursued additional education at Inspire 360 and obtained the titles of NLP Master and Qualified NLP Trainer.
