Aaron Nicholson currently serves as the Director of Development at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Aaron was the Director of Development at Starting Arts from March 2020 to June 2023, and also worked as a Development Consultant, assisting non-profits in enhancing donor engagement and fundraising strategies. Aaron's background includes significant leadership roles in the performing arts, such as Director of Marketing and Development at Opera San José and General Director at Opera Coeur d'Alene, where oversight of artistic quality was a primary responsibility. Early in their career, Aaron showcased their talent as a Baritone Opera Singer with the Metropolitan Opera and founded BU Summer Youth Musical Theater, managing various aspects of production and education. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Music Performance, Opera, from Binghamton University and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from Western Washington University.
