Sam Stark has had a successful career in the maritime industry. Sam held the position of Director of Maritime Operations at The World from September 2023. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Project Manager and Naval Architect at KNUD E. HANSEN A/S for ten years, from August 2013 to August 2023. Sam began their career as a Naval Architect at Austal in June 2009, where they worked until August 2013.

Sam Stark attended McGill University from 2000 to 2004, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Marketing. Following that, from 2006 to 2009, they studied at Solent University, specializing in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree.
