Michael Johnson is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as Assistant Controller at The World since December 2021. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at LexTM3, LLC, including Senior Manager of Accounting and Accounting Manager from February 2016 to November 2021. Michael also worked at AerSale, Inc. as Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant from April 2012 to January 2016. Earlier in the career, Michael gained experience as a Senior Accountant (Contract) at Sterling Accountants Ltd and as Intermediate Accountant at Walker Davey Limited. Michael started as an Auditor at KPMG New Zealand. Michael's educational background includes becoming a Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2017, obtaining the Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2009, and earning a degree in Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems from the University of Canterbury between 2003 and 2006.
