Nissi Thapa is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in digital and print media. Currently serving as the Communications Coordinator at The Women's Center since July 2021, Nissi has successfully hosted fundraising events, increased engagement through newsletters, and enhanced digital content and media coverage. Previously, as a Communications Associate at The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health, Nissi managed diverse communication strategies and executed promotional plans that boosted event attendance. Early career roles include a Communications Officer position at World Vision, where Nissi specialized in advocacy and content production related to child rights, as well as event planning and administrative support roles at The George Washington University and Rillmark. Nissi holds a Master of Arts in Business/Corporate Communications from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Journalism, and English Literature from Bishop Cotton Christian College.
