Rachel Manaster is an experienced educator with a strong background in childhood education and research. Currently serving as a 2nd and 4th Grade Teacher at The Windward School since July 2016, Rachel has previously worked as a Research Assistant at the Infant Studies Laboratory, focusing on Spanish language acquisition in children. Additionally, Rachel contributed to student representation as a Human Ecology Representative on the Alumni Advisory Council while leading initiatives to strengthen alumni-student relations. Previous roles also include a Child Welfare Intern at the Westchester Institute for Human Development and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Cornell University. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Literacy and General Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Cornell University.
