Zach Schonbrun is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in sports reporting and editing. Currently serving as Senior Editor at The Week since February 2019, Schonbrun has also held the position of Sports Reporter for The New York Times since November 2011, where notable contributions include six A1 feature articles and coverage of major sporting events such as the Super Bowl and World Series. Previous roles include sports intern at Newsday, associate reporter at MLB.com, studio production intern at ESPN, and Olympic research intern at NBC Sports. Schonbrun holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Syracuse University.
