Rafael Alvarez is a Program Manager at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation since December 2022, overseeing the management of over 80 active grants in the Highlands of Chiapas, focusing on areas such as education and maternal-child health. Prior to this role, Rafael served as Manager of Global Grantmaking Programs at Teach For All, where responsibilities included managing the grantmaking cycle across 60 countries and developing data processes for the Grantmaking Team. Rafael's experience also includes roles as Senior Associate in Fundraising and External Affairs, and Project Manager in the Global Events Team at Teach For All, as well as Development Manager and Head of Alumni at Enseña por México. Rafael holds a Master of Arts in International Peace Studies from the United Nations mandated University for Peace and a Bachelor of Arts in Relaciones Internacionales from Universidad La Salle, A.C.
