Karen Bruno is a freelance reporter for The Wall Street Journal Mansion, contributing articles on real estate, architecture, and interior design since January 2018. Additionally, Karen is the author of "Pietro Cicognani Architecture and Design" with Vendome Group. With a freelance writing career spanning back to 2005, work includes contributions to notable publications such as T Magazine, Fine Cooking, and Martha Stewart Living. Previously, roles included freelance editor at Dwell, research editor at The New York Times T magazine, and editorial positions at Whole Living Magazine and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, among others. Karen holds a BA in English literature from Wellesley College and has completed certifications in French cooking from Peter Kump's New York Cooking School.
