Kim Thompson has a strong background in supply chain and operations. Currently, they are the Vice President of Supply Chain & Operations at The Urgent Company since February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Supply Chain at the same company from June 2022 to February 2023.

Before joining The Urgent Company, Kim worked as a Supply Chain Manager at RIBUS, Inc. from October 2020 to May 2022.

Kim'sprevious experience includes being the Director at Kennesaw State University from June 2017 to October 2020.

Prior to that, Kim held the role of Purchasing and Planning Manager at Talenti Gelato from December 2012 to March 2017.

Kim also worked as an Import Specialty Buyer at BlueLinx Corporation from May 2012 to December 2012.

Earlier in their career, Kim served as a Supply Chain Group Manager at Anheuser-Busch from November 2011 to May 2012, and as a Group Accountant from September 2009 to November 2011.

Kim was also a State Procurement Officer at Kennesaw State University from May 2008 to September 2009.

Kim began their career as a Staff Accountant at Alliant CPA from January 2007 to May 2008.

Kim Thompson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance from Kennesaw State University's Michael J. Coles College of Business between 2004 and 2008. Kim then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the same institution's business school from 2009 to 2011.
