Mark Tocchet

Dean, School of Design at The University of the Arts

Mark Tocchet is an award-winning illustrator, designer and Dean for the School of Design in the College of Art, Media & Design at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He is currently principal of Tocchet Studio, a design and illustration studio specializing in creative visual problem solving for the book publishing and package design markets. Markā€™s work has been recognized by Communication Arts, Print and the Museum of American Illustration. He is a member of both the Society of Illustrators and the Illustratorsā€™ Partnership of America.

Mark is a recipient of the University of the Arts two most prestigious faculty awards: the Richard C. von Hess Faculty Prize for Outstanding Commitment as a Teacher and Mentor (2001); and the Cynthia Iliff Koehler Distinguished Teaching Award (2017).
