Michael E. Webber is a distinguished academic and industry leader, holding the position of Sid Richardson Chair in Public Affairs and John J. McKetta Centennial Energy Chair in Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where also serves as Deputy Director of the Energy Institute and Co-Director of the Clean Energy Incubator. Previously, Michael E. Webber served as Chief Science & Technology Officer at ENGIE, Associate Engineer at RAND Corporation, and Senior Scientist at Pranalytica, beginning a career in research as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Applied Research Laboratories. Michael E. Webber earned a Ph.D. and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, completed between 1995 and 2001.
