Dr. Amer Diab is a seasoned professional in the field of digital transformation and learning technology, currently serving as the Digital Transformation Manager at the University of the West of Scotland since September 2023 and as the Learning Technology Manager at The University of Sheffield since July 2022. Prior experience includes a long tenure at the University of Glasgow from October 2007 to July 2022 as both the Academic and Technology Enhanced Learning Manager and Lecturer. Dr. Diab also held the role of Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Stirling from February 2003 to August 2007 and served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham from February 2002 to February 2003. Early in the career, Dr. Diab was a British Council Scholar at the University of Portsmouth from March 1993 to March 1995.
