Aytekin Oto is a distinguished medical professional currently serving as Dean for Clinical Affairs and Chief Physician at the University of Chicago Physicians since August 2021. With a strong background in radiology, Oto has held various academic leadership roles, including Professor and Chairman of the Department of Radiology from September 2017 to October 2023, and Interim Chairman from February 2019 to January 2020. Additionally, Oto served as Vice Chair for Business Development and Section Chief of Abdominal Imaging within the same department. Prior experience includes an Associate Professor role at UTMB, where Oto was Vice Chair for Research and Chief of Body Imaging.
