Roger Vater has extensive experience in the broadcasting industry, currently serving as the Tulalip TV Station Manager and Broadcast Engineer for the Tulalip Tribes since July 2004. Prior roles include Technical Supervisor at KVOS TV from January 1990 to July 2004, Technical Director and CMX Editor at ABC Family Channel from December 1983 to December 1989, and Technical Operations Supervisor at KECH TV 22 from December 1981 to December 1983. Roger Vater also held the position of Senior Video Tape Editor at KXTX TV-39 from December 1978 to December 1981 and was Chief Engineer at KJUD TV (formerly KINY TV & AM) from December 1976 to December 1978. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University and a Certificate in Television Broadcasting from Bates Technical College, supplemented by studies at Chemeketa Community College and Skagit Valley College.
