Carrie Steinweg is an experienced market manager and writer with a diverse background in journalism and photography. Currently serving as the Market Manager at Valpo Parks since June 2022, Carrie oversees a popular outdoor market in downtown Valparaiso and manages its social media presence. As a Staff Writer for The Papers, Inc. since September 2000, Carrie produces monthly feature articles across various topics. Additionally, Carrie co-founded Chicago Foodie Sisters, creating blogs that highlight food-related content. Extensive freelance writing includes contributions to numerous publications and a travel column for Times Newspapers of Northwest Indiana. Previous roles include Professional Newborn Photographer at Our365 and Administrative Assistant to the Human Resources Director at Thornton Township High School District.
