Professor Adel Aneiba is currently the Head of the School of Computing and Digital Technology and a Professor in Cyber Physical Systems at Birmingham City University, a position held since November 2016. Additionally, Professor Aneiba serves as the TTN Initiator for The Things Network since November 2017. Previous roles include Head of the Computer Networks Department at the University of Benghazi from November 2011 to October 2016 and Deputy Director at the UNESCO Tripol Office from August 2008 to February 2011. Academic qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching Methods from Birmingham City University, a PhD in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications, a Master’s degree in e-commerce, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science-Networking, all contributing to a robust foundation in computing and digital technology.
