André Verdun Jones has a diverse work experience. André Verdun started their career in 2004 as a Funeral Director/Web Manager/Owner at Jones Funeral Home, LLC. In 2013, they co-founded The Tenth Media and The Tenth Magazine, where they held the roles of Cofounder and Producer. In 2017, they joined Quiet and Clear Film as an Executive Producer/Producer. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at Nom De Guerre Films as a Producer/Executive Producer, where they were involved in promoting New Orleans and its people.

André Verdun Jones has a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Loyola University New Orleans. André Verdun obtained this degree from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1995, they attended Loyola University New Orleans where they studied Education, Psychology, and Social Science, although they did not obtain a degree in this field. In addition to their education, André Verdun Jones holds a certification as a Licensed Funeral Director, which was obtained in May 2006 from the Louisiana Board of Embalmers & Funeral Directors.
